MALAYSIA’S DIGITAL ACTION PLAN 2030: A GATEWAY FOR AUSTRALIAN TECH COMPANIES IN SOUTHEAST ASIA
Malaysia’s newly launched Digital Action Plan 2030 (MD2030) is a decisive policy in the
country’s digital ambitions. The initiative is intended to move Malaysia from
technology consumer to technology producer. For Australian companies operating in

Martin Haese MBA, a former Lord Mayor of Adelaide and now Special Envoy to
Singapore and Southeast Asia for Trade and Investment for the Government of South
Australia, was in Kuala Lumpur recently and met with MABC Chairman, Loong
Caesar. At their meeting they discussed promoting investment between Malaysia and
