Informing our members on the latest issues and business opportunities in Malaysia and the region
Hello and Welcome!
The Malaysia Australia Business Council (MABC) was established on 1986 as a private non-profit organization that provides a range of services to its members relating to businesses in Malaysia and Australia.
Dear MABC members,
As most of you may be aware, the World Health Organisation has declared the COVID-19 outbreak as a pandemic. To contain the situation, the Malaysian Government has implemented Movement Control Order (MCO) which, among others, require the closure of all private offices, except those involved in essential services and those approved to operate effective 18 March 2020. Recently, on 4 May, the Malaysian Government has lifted the MCO and replaced with a Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) until 9 June 2020.
The MABC will be taking the advice of the Government and to try and work from home as much as possible. Therefore, the MABC office will be closed until 9 June 2020. All our employees will be working remotely from home and remain reachable via email, WhatsApp and/or mobile phone.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the temporary closure of our office. As this is a rapidly evolving situation, MABC will be monitoring the situation closely. Any updates on our operations and any additional information will be communicated via our email broadcast.
Should you need any further clarification, do not hesitate to email Ms. Linda Tey at firstname.lastname@example.org
Let’s stay safe and united as we fight through these trying times together.
